At E & E FIRE PROTECTION, our first step in every fire protection project is performing onsite evaluations of existing facilities or, for new construction jobs, analyzing blueprints. Building Information Modeling (BIM)

AFPG increases its productivity in building design and construction through three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling. Using innovative computer-aided design (CAD) capabilities, we coordinate sprinkler systems with all building components and use accurate drawing data to produce a cohesive, comprehensive and consistent design.

Fire protection systems design

Our companies are experts in conceptual engineering, detail engineering, construction documents, construction observation and final acceptance testing. In fact, many of our experienced designers are certified through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). Additionally, we have a Registered Fire Protection Professional Engineer (P.E.) on staff, with licenses in multiple states.

Code consulting

We work closely with insurance companies and government agencies to design fire protection systems that comply with the National Fire Protection Association and local fire codes, as well as with client-specific insurance requirements.

Site surveys

Our companies review existing facilities for retrofit installation or to verify that systems comply with codes required for system upgrades or modifications.

Hydraulic calculations

Our team uses these measurements to design plans that maintain adequate flow for effective fire control.
